An exquisite Handmade Prayer Rope ("Comboschini" in Greek) consisting of 100 knots divided into four groups of 25 with the help of three silver plated beads. At the end there is a Handmade Silver Plated Cross with Panagia Athonitissa on one side and a Cross on the other. It also bears a black tassel. It is hand-woven with four strands, which makes it resistant to shedding. It returns to its original state simply by rubbing it. The Prayer Rope is mainly used by monks during their prayers but also by the faithful and clergy in order to keep track of how many times they have prayed the Jesus Prayer: "Lord Jesus Christ, son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner."
